ISO: baking with the Griswold cast iron cake mold

I am looking for specific instructions for baking in the Griswold cast iron small lamb cake mold. One side of the instructions says to bake the face side with the back side on top for 45 minutes. Then the other side says to flip to the back side. I am confused and need directions! Can anyone help? thanks! RoseAnne
