ISO: Barbeque dry rubs

Misc.
Can anyone help me find the perfect dry rubs? I'm looking for a good variety for chicken and steaks for out on the barbeque as well as in the oven. Also how can I get that great Mesquite flavor from a dry rub in the oven? any ideas would greatly appreciated. thanks
