Recipe(tried): Hardees Sausage Gravy

I normally do not use packaged gravy but this one beats anything I can do. My brother-in law found it at our local Sara Lee bread store but would think you could get it anywhere. Our Hardees closed and my husband loved their biscuits and gravy. Everyone who has tried this agrees it is awful close.

It is a powdered Old Fashioned Peppered Gravy mix made by Southeastern Mills. Their phone number is 1-800-334-4468 if you can not find this is your grocery store. There are probably comparable mixes out there. Just brown your sausage...I have found the cheaper the better or if your grocery store has their own fresh sausage that is good too. Some brands get quite spicy or salty. Follow the directions on the package; add your sausage and ladle over your favorite biscuits. We have tried the Sausage and Peppered Gravy mix but do not care for that.
