ISO: Brownies, in the American Womans Cook Book, page 493 by Ruth Berolzheimer

Misc.
Hello,
I hope someone can help me with my request.
The American Womans Cook Book, published 1947, by Ruth Berolzheimer was handed down to me from my mother.
I treasure it immensley..The only problem I have is that a certain, favorite recipe for Brownies is MISSING. It appeared on page 493 of the above mentioned Cook Book and I would be ever so grateful to anyone who can help me by posting it here. Mom made them so often that the page would get splattered with batter mix and eventually was no longer legible. I even have the same brownie pan she used....I just need the recipe to make it complete. Thank you...Sandy
