ISO: Can you freeze celery?

In doing my meal planning, I ended up with a couple of heads of celery that I'm sure I won't be able to use before it spoils. Is there a way to freeze it, or does it freeze OK? Like if I were to saute it up with onions to add to soups.... Has anyone had success in this area?
