ISO: Candied pralines of the 1940's

I'm hoping that someone out there can help, I'm looking for a company that made candied pralines in the 1940's. my grandfather was in ww2 and had received some of these pralines from a member of his unit. the young man's family we think owned the company. all the help we can get would be appreciated!
