ISO: Chicken Wings in a roaster oven

I want to serve chicken drummies for my daughter's graduation. We're hosting the party at a park (electricity too). I have a larger roaster. Someone suggested baking the chicken drummies in my conventional oven at home and then placing them in the roaster on low just to keep warm. The party will run for 4 hrs. Will this work ... should I add a little water in the bottom. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
