ISO: cooked ham - removing salty taste

I bought a sprial cooked ham today .I tasted it and it very salty,since it's already cooked is there any way I can remove some of the salty taste? What about boiling it for a while even though it's already cooked.Do you think that I will ruin it if I boil it? Thanks for any help.Rose
