re: Removing salty taste from ham

Rose when baking your ham pour 12 oz of beer over your ham, this will eliminate the salty taste and the alcohol bakes off during the cooking. I like to rub my ham with a mustard/brown sugar rub, insert whole cloves into the ham and then pour a bottle of beer over the whole thing. I have always had good luck with this and many compliments as well. Good Luck hope this helps
