ISO: Cookies w/little flour, no oatmeal
Misc. Several years ago someone gave me a cookie basket at Christmas time. One of the cookies was really delicious - it was very very thin and fragile and when I bit into it, it just melted in my mouth. I asked the woman if she'd share her recipe and she said, "Well, these are very hard to make because they have almost no flour in them and so you probably wouldn't want to make them anyway." I have been looking for that recipe everywhere and don't see anything that resembles it. There was no oatmeal in the cookies. Does anyone know what these are called or have a recipe? I tried to do a search here, but without a specific title I got 93,665 matches for "cookies" !!!
