ISO: Cooking Standing Rib Roast on a Barrel Pit

Misc.
I have a 17 pound standing rib roast and an 8 pound rib roast that we plan to cook on a barrel pit. Can anyone give me some idea of how long it will take or how many minutes per pound? I would hate to have 30 birthday party goers show up and dinner is hours off. Thanks for your help.
