Hi Donna,

I don't know whether you'll ever get this (it's been 18 years since you posted your request), but I just discovered this site today, and I actually have the recipe you requested.

Many years ago, The Washington Post (I believe) carried an interview with one of the bakers from Firehook, and she included this recipe.

I was delighted because these were my favorite cookies from there.
