ISO: electric ice cream makers

'Cooks Illustrated' (July & August 1998) has a lengthy article on page 2.
The two they tried were the Cuisinart @ $69.99 and the Krups @ 59.99.
If you don't have this issue or can't get it at your library, I'll do my best to type it out for you.
I have heard the 'Doniver' is a very good hand cranked model and is probably less expensive, It's the kind that you freeze the inner liner, assemble and crank the handle every so often. The Cuisinart and the Krups are both electric.
