ISO: filled cookies
Misc. Please help! I am looking for a cookie recipe. Sorry, have no clue as to the name but think it may be Viennese something. The dough is not overly sweet and may have cream cheese in it. It is baked in 2 parts- one bottom circle and one top circle with the middle cut out. A jam-raspberry?- is spread on bottom full circle and then circle with hole is placed on top. Then sprinkled with confectioner's sugar.
If someone could help- I would really apprecate it. So far- my cookie baking this season has been the pits. Just threw out 2 batches of Hersey peanut bloosom dough. Don't know what happened but the dough almost tastes like I used self rising flour. Yuck! And the choco chip cookies also tasted terrible. Was regular flour, though.
