ISO: Fix for Terrible coffee...

Misc.
No matter how hard I try, my brewed coffee tastes stale and bitter. I buy fresh Starbuck's beans, use filtered water in my drip coffee pot, am careful to seal the leftover beans for the next pot, but it always tastes bad. Does anyone have any suggestions or a favorite brand of coffeemaker that might help? Thanks for your input! Kate, MA
