ISO: Haystacks recipe

Misc.
I'm originally from Tennessee. When I was younger, I remember buying a candy called haystacks. They weren't made by a big-name company, but were wrapped in a baggie like a local person made them (probably did). I've also seen them in those packages that are sold 2/$1 or .69 each. They had a sort of sweet caramel taste to them, were light brown, and had coconut in them. They didn't have butterscotch or chow mein noodles in them. Anyone have a recipe?
