ISO: Help - New Vegetarian with no knowledge of how to do this!

Misc.
Hello - I am a new vegetarian who doesn't know where to begin. A pot of chicken soup on the stove today finally hit me. I just don't want to eat meat anymore. I'm a little nervous. Can you help? I can eat anything but peppers (don't like them). Otherwise, I'm all yours.
