ISO: Help......with a chicken recipe

Misc.
In this recipe, Spread, Sprinkle, Pour it calls for Russian Dressing. Can I use 1000 dressing instead of Russian. What is Russian dressing?
Thanx for your help
Kat

Here's the recipe:

4-5 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
12-ounce jar apricot preserves
1 envelope dry onion soup mix
8 ounces Russian salad dressing
2 cups cooked rice

Preheat oven to 350 degress.

Place chicken breasts in a baking dish. Spread apricot preserves over chicken. Sprinkle onion soup mix over chicken. Pour salad dressing over chicken.

Bake, uncovered, one hour.
