ISO: Home canned dill pickles too salty!
Misc. I have tried several one day dill pickle recipes in the past couple years, but we haven't been able to eat any of them. At best, we drain, rinse and rinse again before eating them. If the recipe calls for 1/2 cup canning salt, I have reduced to 1/4 cup. Can I reduce to just a tablespoon? Or does anyone have an unsalty tasting one day dill recipe?
