ISO: Is there a recipe around for Sweet Potato Cake without cake mix?

I have been in search for this recipe for years and I would like to Thank all of you who have tried with the mix, but I would like to make it from scratch I guess I could experiment with the recipe you all have given. Thank you so much and GOD Bless.
