Recipe: Tomatoes Margarita

TOMATOES MARGARITA

2 pints cherry or other small, sweet tomatoes
1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
1/2 cup sea salt or other coarse salt
1/2 cup tequila
Juice of 1 lime

Cut stem ends from tomatoes. Place in a serving bowl.

Combine cilantro, garlic salt and sea salt in a small serving bowl.

Combine tequila and lime juice in a small serving bowl.

Place bowls on a tray with toothpicks.

To eat, spear a tomato, dip into tequila-lime juice mix, then into seasoned salt.

Serves 8 to 10
