CALLING ALL CHESTNUT LOVERS: At this time of year when our chestnuts are falling from the tree in our front yard, there is always someone who will ask if they can have some. Yesterday, someone whom I did not know, stopped to ask if they could have the nuts which had fallen to the ground. After they left with a bag full of nuts, I began wondering about the various ways people use chestnuts and thought it would be nice to have the folks at TKL share their recipes and/or ways of using chestnuts. PLEASE SHARE YOUR FAVORITES.
