ISO: Italian cookie

Hi,i'm looking for an Italian cookie,and i'm not sure of the spelling of it, but it's called tadales..like i said i'm not sure of the spelling..there not biscotties.There a hard cookie, that you can put icing on or a egg wash. Thank you.
