ISO: Italian Fried Rice cake

I'm looking for a recipe for an appetizer I had at a restaurant in Montreal. It was rice and mozzarella cheese, then dipped in egg and bread crumbs and fried. Served with a tomato sauce. Very similar to fried mozzarella but it had rice in it too. Can anyone out there help ?
