ISO: Italian Zeppole

I'm looking for a receipe for Italian Zeppoli similar to the ones sold at many Italian Feasts like the San Gennaro Festival in Little Italy in Manhattan. They are fried spheres , approximately 2-3 inches in diameter, and are then sprinkled with powdered sugar.
