ISO: Japanese Dinner Party for 4 incl the bos

Misc.
I have decided to have a dinner party and invite the boss and his wife. I have also decided on serving Japanese food. I am competent in making sushi and miso soup but not sure on the rest. Thought maybe teriaki chicken and salad with an asian dressing but dont have the dressing recipe. Does anyone have any suggestions how this might work?
