ISO: main course for Prog dinner ...

Misc.

Yet one more progressive dinner for the holiday season -- this one won't be til the 19th about 20 or so. I have the main course -- they said they'd buy ham but I want to cook -- i think that is more fun!

SOOOOO ideas?

this is for the Sunday School class that my hubby teaches -- I want it to be very special :)

this was my thought .... i'd like individual somthing with a sauce. I was thinking "crab cakes" or turkey corcquets or somthing like that -- with a wonderful sauce over it? Problem is i have not done such a thing -- well turkey corcquets when i was younger & streaching turkey .... and can i pull this off as doing while i'm progressing??

Oh another thought -- am i too daring with "crab" will everyone like that? I'll need side recomendations too -- i LOVE parmesan potatoes but fear they will not go with a "croquet" or "cake"?

I will have traditional holiday theme -- i have this GREAT gold angel voil fabric (2.50 yd!) that i will hem & place over white felt and place nativity for the cernterpiece on each table -- one is in stained glass! I have needed the cloth for a long time and am so glad to have found this it can go for several holidays -- even Valintines! Again they would buy paper but i will use my chap but pretty gold rimmed china.

Thaniks for you thoughts a little time still .... :)

love,
