Thanks everyone for the ideas ... i was running dry.

You are probably right aobut the seafood -- it I do end up with them i'll ahve to have turkey or chicken ones too .... may be a hasstle.

I REALLY want whatever I serve to be individual -- i may hire my son to serve with a tux on! Maybe not but if i can at least make it individual enough on platters that would be good.

I will have little or no time ahead of the gang -- i REALLY like a party and would HATE to leave a course early just to prepare.

I am leaning toward the phyllo wrapped chicken breasts --- I only can't help but think that this crew is always having chicken or ham for tha parties. i would need sauce ideas for it -- I also worry aobut he chicken being DRY!

mini meatloaf but is that fancy enough?? maybe if i "stuff them"?

thanks any more thoughts appriciated :-)
