ISO: Marlene Sorosky Cake Recipe

Misc.
First: Newbie to this board so please exuse any errors I may make. Looking for a Chocolate Cake recipe from Marlene Sorosky's Cookery for Entertaining. It contains beets (which sounds horrid but tastes fantastic). I have the book, but can't get it as it's in storage. It was something I made for my brother's birthday every year. He was missing for 5 years (living on the street) but came back in to our lives last year(clean and sober now) and we are communicating again. He is coming out from Kansas next month on his birthday and I would love more than anything to make this for him. Need the cake AND the frosting. Thanks to anyone that can help! Cindy B.
