ISO: maybe is was a noodle kugel

There are many good recipes on the web for noodle pudding or kugel...
which is an egg and cheese custard baked with noodles sometimes sweet with fruit and nuts and rarely savory.
The one I make has noodles, egg, cottage cheese, sour cream, cream cheese, dried cherries, pineapple, orange peel almonds, sugar and butter.
mixed all together and baked in a casserole with corn flake crumbs on top.
