ISO: Mexico Cream Fudge

I am serching for a recipe for Mexico Cream Fudge. My grandmother used to make this blonde fudge and we've tried to make it many times and it never seems to come out right. Maybe we are missing an ingredient? The recipe calls for canned milk. This is a recipe that is probably 60+ years old and is very special to my dad. It would be such a surprise for him if I could re-create this favorite!
Any help is greatly appreciated.
