Recipe: Golden Granola with Mixed Fruit

Breakfast and Brunch
GOLDEN GRANOLA WITH MIXED FRUIT

3 1/2 cups Quaker oats, uncooked (quick or old fashioned)
1/3 cup honey
1/3 cup margarine, melted
1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup chopped mixed dried fruit

Heat oven to 350 degrees F.

In 15 x 10-inch jelly roll pan, combine all ingredients except fruit; mix well. Spread evenly over pan.

Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown, stirring after 10 minutes. Cool completely.

Stir in fruit.

Serve as a snack, cereal or topping over yogurt. Store tightly covered up to 1 week.

MICROWAVE DIRECTIONS:
In large microwaveable bowl, combine all ingredients except fruit; mix well. Microwave at HIGH 3 minutes; stir. Microwave an additional 3 to 4 minutes or until golden brown, stirring after 2 minutes. Spread onto foil; cool completely. Stir in fruit. Serve as a snack, cereal or topping over yogurt. Store tightly covered up to 1 week.
