ISO: Morrison's Cafeteria Chicken and Dumplings, and Baked or Broiled Chicken

Morrison's Cafeteria made a distinct version of chicken and dumplings, and I would very much like a copy cat version of their recipe. They also made what was called broiled or baked chicken, but it is not something I have been able to duplicate. It was very, tender and moist. It was displayed in halves and quarters and there was always a lot of juice in the pan it was served from.
