ISO: mothballs (filbert candy)
Misc. I am searching for a recipe for a candy that used to be sold by the pound at department stores with candy counters, we called them MOTHBALLS or FILBERTS. Any information would be appreciated. If not a recipe then a manufacturer or source. The candy has a filbert nut in the center covered by a white creamy confection (perhaps a fondant) then sort of dried on the outside. They are white and round about the size of a mothball.
