ISO: Pickled corn on the cob

So, did you have success at making it like your mom's? My Nanny was from West Virginia and made this awesome pickled corn you are talking about. I miss it too. What is brine? I would love to make this if it is what my Nanny used to make. I did get to grow up beside her and she died early on. I would love to be the one to perserve this family tradition. Can you email me the recipe?
