ISO: PIE made with cottage cheese and applesauce

Misc.
Are you gals and guys up for a recipe challenge?

Have been corresponding with a lady that is searching for a pie, made with cottage cheese and applesauce.

Her request as written:

"I've lost an old recipe for an Apple Cheese Pie containing applesauce and cottage cheese. I first acquired this recipe in a magazine submitted from a lady in South America, and would really like to find the original recipe."
