ISO: pineapple, marshmallow, cheese fruit salad

My Mama made a fruit salad every summer which had chunks of canned pineapple, mini marshmallows and chunks of cheddar or colby cheese covered with a hot sauce that was then cooled before serving. She died without writing down the recipe and I would dearly love to have that memory back again.
