ISO: Please Find Cherry Mash Candy recipe

Please find me a recipe for Cherry Mash Candy. I had gotten it out of the newspaper several years ago and lost it. It had melted chocolate chips and crushed nuts over a cherry nougat filling that was put in a 13 X 9 cake pan. Please help, it was in a local newspaper in Nebraska about 25 years ago.
