ISO: Problem Drying Roma Tomatoes

DRYING TOMATOES- I started drying Roma Tomatoes this week with a dehydrator. By day 3 they were turning black and molding. I cut the Roma's in 1/2 or 1/3rds depending on the size. What did I do wrong???
