Recipe(tried): How to Dry Roma Tomatoes

To dry the tomatoes, cut the tomatoes in half, then sprinkle them with some salt. Place the tomatoes on the dehydrator racks and dry on the higher end of the temperature button. Always check because, depending on the size of the tomatoes, some will dry quicker than others. They should be leathery, not mushy or crisp.
Once they're dried, store them in a glass jar with some herbs and olive oil. They keep for as long the oil is good.
