ISO: Putitza (sp?)
Misc.Hi! I'm looking for a recipe for a sweet bread - I've found some recipes that are similar, & the spelling for them is Putitza or Putittza (though I have no idea what the correct spelling is). The recipes I've found identify this as an Italian Fruit Bread - but I had been told the one I'm looking for is Polish (?). The dough is rolled very, very thin & then the filling is spread on & the bread is rolled jelly roll style. As I recall, most of the ingredients in the filling are walnuts, graham crackers, melted butter, sugar, honey, & maybe mollasses.
