ISO: scott's mom: re-easier lasagna (more)

Misc.

In pouring boiling water over the uncooked lasagna noodles, does
the recipe you are using have ricotta cheese in it or does it use
cottage cheese? I am assuming the concept is one that the water
eventually boils off or evaporates in the oven, does this affect
the consistency of the filling at all & have you used it with
meat & vegetable lasagnas? This really intrigues me, but I'm
always curious to understand the background concept. I certainly
would make lasagna much more often too, using your hint. Thanks.
