ISO: substitute for baking spray

A while back I came across a recipe for a substitute for baking spray. I think it was made with a mixture of flour and crisco shortening and oil, and was smeared on baking pans instead of spraying them or using better then flouring you pan. you were able to keep it on the counter or refrigerated. If any one knows about this I would love to have the recipe for this baking spray substitute.
