ISO: tea cakes or tea cookies
Misc.I was born and raised by my grandmother in Prichard , AL. I remember my grandmother making some of the most wonderful cookies when I was a kid. They had Crisco, flour, sugar, lemon or vanilla flavoring, baking powder and soda, some sort of liquid to bind and she rolled them out on the kitchen table with her wooden rolling pin and cut them with a jelly jar glass. They were melt in your mouth. If someone has a receipe like this I would appreciate a copy. I have gone on message board before and received a wonderful recipe for sweet potato pone. I need help again. Thanks in advance.
