ISO: Thanksgiving Dinner Ideas

Hi! I have to go to my husband's side of the family (about 35 people) for dinner at 1:00 on Thanksgiving .......then about 5 we have to run out to my brother's house for sandwiches and desserts (about 25 people). I'm looking for ideas on some TERRIFIC recipies to wow them!! Can't take great ice cream or anything like that which would melt on the way!! The first dinner is only down the street so that might work .... but the second dinner is about 45 mins. away. I could keep things hot in a crock pot but would rather not keep it hot from about 1 o' clock until we leave for the 2nd place!!! I wowed them last time with the cold veggie pizza recipe so I'd like to keep up my image!!! "A differnt kind of apple pie" is on my list!!! But what else? Thanks! Six
