ISO: Thief Boys (strips of yeast dough cinnamon spirals)

Many years ago, maybe 35 or more, I had a recipe for something called "Thief Boys". They were made with yeast and the dough was rolled out, cut in strips, butter, nuts, cinnamon (as best I remember were put on the dough, then twisted into a spiral shape. Has anybody heard of these?
