ISO: vegetable bean soup

I had a vegetable ban soup at Betty's pies in Minnesota this year and it was wonderful, does anyone have the recipe? It used ham instead of beef. Had northern beans in it. If you live up near Lake Superior you have to try her pies. I bought her pie recipe book and it is great. The pie crust is the best there ever was. It never fails and so flaky. Thanks Gina for all your great recipes.
