ISO: vinegar pie

i am looking for a recipe called i belive vinegar pie or vinegar cake. i heard it mentioned on the tv and it got my taste buds a hankering for something like this . any help or recipe would be appreciated, i have looked up several recipe links and unable to locate any thing even close to this. i heard it was from the south a dessert that had both sweet and sour to bring the best out in each taste. hope i havent gone mad and looking for something not even or ever heard of. thanks kathy
