ISO: what would you serve with goose

Misc.
Last week on the Splendid Table they gave a recipe for a goose stuffed with apple and garlic. I thought I'd like to try it, but aside from garlic mashed potatoes, I'm at a loss for what might go with it. Any suggestions? I don't want to make a huge all day in the kitchen thing but since goose is quite rich i'm not sure what would go well with it.
