ISO: When to add ingredients in breadmaker
Misc.I have a Black & Decker bread machine. I've only made a half dozen loaves so far but I am hooked. Everything I have read says to make sure you add ingredients in the order listed. Does this mean in the order of the ingredients listed on the internet recipe post or the order of ingredients listed in my bread manual? For instance, with B&D the liquid ingredients are added first, then the dry and whatever else is called for. The flour and yeast always go in last according the to recipes included with my machine. I've seen wonderful looking recipes posted where it's just the opposite. Should I transpose the ingredients to the order...or as close to the order my bread machine has or follow the recipe as written on this site ? ...Or is it simply just important that the yeast never touch the liquid? Thanks, Karen
